Earning On RisingTideFlyCo.com

• Don't have your own website? You can host curated gear lists directly on RisingTideFlyCo.com in addition to the allocations given from customers going through our primary sales funnel. 
• Your sales and commission data is available in real time through the Partner Portal. You can see exactly what payments are headed your direction, the commission breakdown, and your customers' data.  
• All commissions are the same between the Embed Network and shares given on RisingTideFlyCo.com. You'll receive the same commission rate no matter where your customers prefer to shop.  
• Clients can find you on RisingTideFlyCo.com by searching your name or your company's name in the floating widget. Locations are also displayed to ensure clarity between guides with similar names. 

Selling Through Your Own Website

• Embed curated versions of Rising Tide's store directly into your own website without technical experience or any actual coding.
  
  Curate and display an entire fly shop on your website menu in minutes. Once an embed is installed on any page of your website, you can dynamically display Product Categories on your website's menu. Many Partners are able to curate an entire fly shop in just 15-20 minutes. 
  
  Embed shop-able gear lists directly into your "What To Bring" page. We've created a single-page shopping experience ideal for clients preparing for a trip. They can cycle through each of your product selections all while staying on the same page of your website. Additionally, you have the ability to provide a desciption that cycles with each product selection so you can give relevant tips and variant specifications..  
• All of our storefronts revolve around Product Categories (collections of products). Rising Tide Fly Co. creates and manages categories for you or you can build your own.  
  
  Whenever possible, we recommend using Product Categories that are created and managed by Rising Tide Fly Company. We keep these Categories up to date with the latest products, providing true "Set It and Forget" functionality. We offer an "Exclude Products" feature so you can still curate our Product Categories to your own specifications. 
  
  You can also curate Custom Product Categories completely from scratch. You can pick each individual product that appears, but these must be manually updated if you want newly released products to show. 
• You have control over your own embeds. You can change the colors, typography, elements, and styles to fit your website's branding. 
• The entire shopping process happens on your own website. Your clients are not re-routed to RisingTideFlyCo.com to checkout.  

 Selling On The Makers Market

• The Makers Market is designed for those who sell handmade fishing products and Partner branded merchandise. Your products will be available inside the Embed Network for Partners' to use on their websites and we'll also showcase them directly on RisingTideFlyCo.com. 
• If you already operate an Etsy store, you can live sync your account with the Makers Market and our Embed Network. Meaning your inventory can be adjusted in either place and the overall count will move together as sales happen on both platforms. You can also directly import your existing products, meaning you won't have to recreate each product profile.
• 75% of the revenues go directly to the Seller. Rising Tide Fly Co. keeps a 15% commission to cover the costs of operating the Makers Market, and 10% goes to the Partner associated with the sale. 
• Order Fullfillment is the Seller's Responsibility for all products listed in the Makers Market! Our marketplace provides a shipping interface for processing your orders and printing shipping labels. You just need to fulfill the order and get it to the appropriate shipper (USPS, UPS, or Fedex).

How Do Commissions Work?

• Most products distributed by Rising Tide Fly Company carry a 10% commission, but we do carry some inherently low margin products as a service to your clients. These do carry smaller commissions relative to their profit margin. A live list of these products and their commissions are available in the Partner Portal. 
• Makers Market sellers keep 75% of the total income of their sale. Rising Tide Fly Co. takes a 15% commission to cover the costs of operating the platform, and 10% goes to the Partner associated with the sale.  
• Commissions are paid out on the first of every month. However, all payments are backdated 30 days after the time of sale to ensure your clients have ample time to make returns or exchanges. For example, if you sold a $1000 fly rod on March 15. You would be paid $100 for that sale on May 1.
• Partners can only recieve payment through Paypal. You'll need to create an account if you don't already have one. 
• All sales and customer data is visible in real time through the Partner Portal. So you can know exactly what payments are headed your way and which clients are shopping through your store.
• For those already running healthy operations, we do allow Partners to configure their earnings to go to a non-profit of their choice.
